Week 2 was a very action packed week with Blandine and learning fresh new scripts for the month. we also looked into depth about Greek theatre tragedies and the difference between Modern Theatre.( If not seen Oedipus,Meada and Papa tango blog sessions please visit the individual blogs)
Sessions
This week we were able to start our Papa Tango script characters with our teacher Sharron.Papa tango discover, produce and publish brilliant playwrights, launching the best new talent with maximum impact. We inspire artists and audiences that theatre is open to anyone, regardless of background. Their unique commitment to give feedback on every script we receive – over 1500 a year – and our unprecedented travel bursaries ensure that anyone, anywhere, can access new writing.We had the amazing opportunity for seeing them twice in this week to really expand our mines in the directing world and also our stories.

Our second session this week was us going back to our assigned groups and practicing our plays. Remembering to pronounce our constants and vowels and making sure not to glottal when rehearsing lines. we will all be given back some feedback to advice us on our certain weeks and strengths also to get us prepared for our first assignment of the year .

Lastly to end the week off we also touched a bit on our Meada pieces also , We added a more understanding movement to our pieces and also a more realistic vibe where we put ourselves in the characters shoes. we received some overall feedback from our peers and also our context teacher Sharron.
