It is a pleasure to say that I had (well the hole class and others but its my blog so,yh) the opportunity of being the same place ,(correction theatre) of couple of the Hamilton cast. how luck are we to have our very own private Q&A. Can you hear the fireworks going off in my head cause most certainly can. But then realisation hit me! What is Hamilton even about. Now let me explain my self i live under a rock I know but little did i know that it would be the only and only play that I seen and felt so much inspiration, culture and special plays I ever seen. Your probably wondering how do I know ? never watched it. Well stay tuned for an update.
Hamilton the Musical ?

Hamilton is the story of the unlikely Founding Father determined to make his mark on the new nation as hungry and ambitious as he is. From bastard orphan to Washington's right-hand man, rebel to war hero, a loving husband caught in the country's first sex scandal, to the Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy. George Washington, Eliza Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson and Hamilton's lifelong friend/foil Aaron Burr all make their mark in this astonishing new musical exploration of a political mastermind.
The story of that immigrant – Hamilton himself, who was born on the Caribbean island of Nevis – is not all backroom manoeuvring. It has dramatic highs and lows, taking in revolution, a sex scandal, blackmail and death in a duel at the hands of the US vice-president
There are exactly 46 songs on the Hamilton soundtrack all write by the phenomenal none other than the prodigiously talented Lin-Manuel Miranda, a New Yorker of Puerto Rican descent who has won a Pulitzer Prize, three Tony Awards, two Grammy's and and Emmy. Miranda also wrote the book of the musical and cast himself as the title character. We’d be deeply envious of his talent, if he wasn’t so lovable
History of Alexander Hamilton
Alexander Hamilton was born in the West Indies and was moved to the Virgin Islands by his mother at a young age. Due to his mother’s lack of marital status, Hamilton was not seen as a legitimate child and was thus denied access to church schools. He was taught by a tutor and he supplemented his teachings with books. When his mother died he was adopted by a merchant in Nevis, where he worked as a clerk. During his time in Nevis, Hamilton continued to write; one of his essays impressed the community leaders so much that they worked together and collected funds to send Hamilton to the colonies. He continued his education there.

For a treat the arts students and teacher were given the chance to go and see Hamilton performed in The Victoria Theatre. I was extremely honoured and even better The Queen(Yes Queen Victoria ) payed for us to have the best seats in the whole theatre now that is a blessing. In Addition it was the first time for me to even enter a theatre of that much excellence and inspiration.(Except WKC theatre of course) I was able to also get a voice recording of that exclusive Q&A

History of Alexander Hamilton
Alexander Hamilton was born January 11, 1755 or 1757 (the exact birth date is unknown).
Hamilton served in the revolutionary war, during which time he worked his way through battles and earned himself a place aiding General Washington. After the war, Hamilton was elected into the Congress of the Confederation. He was dissatisfied with the decentralised government that was set up and the inability to raise money from the states to pay the soldiers.
Hamilton was involved in the Constitution Convention but did not fully agree with the document; despite his disagreements, he promoted the document because he believed it was a vast improvement over the Articles of Confederation. He pushed the ratification of the Constitution, teaming up with John Jay and James Madison to write the Federalist papers, which were often cited when pushing for the Constitution’s ratification.
Alexander Hamilton was appointed as the country’s first Secretary of The Treasury on September 11, 1789. During his time as Secretary of the Treasury Hamilton helped write economic policies, develop the funding of state debts, establish the national bank, create a national currency, a system of tariffs, and a peaceful trade relationship with Britain.
After his time in politics finished, Alexander Hamilton went back to New York to practice law. He died in a duel with Aaron Burr in Weehawken, New Jersey on July 12, 1804.

Review:Reflecting on an unforgettable experience watching Hamilton at the Victoria Palace:
This is a musical show which is in my opinion as ground-breaking as the original production of Hair was in the 60’s. It is a blend of a (mostly) historically accurate story, a cast of larger than life historical characters played partly for laughs but stopping short of parody, cracking dialogue, singing and dancing, a very cleverly designed and inspiring lit set with wonderful sound backing.
At the end of the last performance EVERYBODY gave the cast and band a well-deserved standing ovation.
